Deep Breathing Exercise

Practice this excercise during the day when you aren't panicking. The more you practice the easier it will be when you need it most.


  1. Take a deep breath through your nose for a count of about 4-5, keeping your shoulders down and your back straight. Picture the air going through your bronchi tubes and filling your aveloi.
  2. Hold the breath in your lungs for a count of 5-7.
  3. Release the breath (count of 6-11) through your mouth, imagining all the bad leaving with it.
